Pulakos CPAs Hold Webinars on COVID-19 Legislation

Pulakos CPAs, PC, (est. 1960) recently held seven on-line seminars for clients and strategic partners about legislation enacted in response to the COVID-19 epidemic. The seminars included information about the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, the Paycheck Protection Plan, and The Employee Retention Credit.

Pulakos CPAs’ Managing Shareholder, Brad Steward, CPA, CCIFP, led the primary presentations and Firm Administrator Bob Daniel provided supporting information. Over 200 participants were briefed on key elements of the laws via internet and telephonic connections.

The webinars lasted approximately one hour each including questions from the participants. Brad Steward said, “We hope the information and question answers helped our audiences navigate the intricacies and nuances of how their businesses and families can benefit from loans and payments available from the federal government.”

The Pulakos CPAs tax experts will hold additional webinars for clients and partners as updates are warranted. Those updates will include strategies for utilizing the programs for best business outcomes and anticipating future impacts. Many participants found the strategic approaches presented to be the most valuable portion of the webinars.
