WE DID THE MATH – THE 2020 PULAKOS CPAS CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL GREEN CHILE CHEESEBURGER DAY WOULD TAKE OVER 35 HOURS!

“We worked diligently to develop a plan for serving ten people at a time,” said Brad Steward, Managing Shareholder. “No matter how you cut it, it would take 10 days at 3 to 4 hours per day to serve the number of Green Chile Cheeseburgers served in 2019. And, that does not factor in the 10% to 20% growth in attendees we have experienced each year.”

Those who have attended past celebrations know that the event is about meeting and networking with over 700 business leaders and policymakers in attendance. National Green Chile Cheeseburger Day, and of course Rex’s excellent mobile kitchen, gives us a reason to make it happen.

Steward also said, “We hate to cancel it, especially with this being our 60th year in business, but large networking events are not happening in New Mexico anytime soon. It is with sadness that I must announce that COVID-19 has another casualty – Pulakos CPAs’ celebration of National Green Chile Cheeseburger Day. We continue to Navigate Tomorrow and look forward to 2021.”

We are disappointed that we are unable to hold this signature event this year; but, we all are clearly aware of the challenges that Covid-19 brings and the limitations that it imposes on large gatherings during these difficult times.

Fear not, we will be ready to once again celebrate the 8th Annual National Green Chile Cheeseburger Day in the Fall of 2021, as we continue to navigate tomorrow.
