Pulakos & Alongi Hosts "Let's Talk Business New Mexico" a New Program on KKOB AM Radio

ALBUQUERQUE – Pulakos & Alongi, Ltd., certified public accountants and consultants, hasannounced they are hosting a new program on KKOB AM Radio called “Let’s Talk Business NewMexico.” The program, which began Dec. 1, will air every other Saturday through at least 2008. Thesecond program is scheduled Dec. 15 from 6-7 a.m.

Co-hosted by Brad Steward, a partner in Pulakos & Alongi, and Bob Daniel, the firm’s chiefoperating officer, the program is aimed at business owners and managers throughout New Mexico. “We are discussing topics that affect business’s bottom lines, such as employee benefits, taxes, andretirement, succession and strategic planning,” Steward explained. Daniel said the program willincludes Pulakos & Alongi partners and managers, guests who are experts in their fields, and successful business owners who can share their experiences in growing companies in New Mexico. “We want to provide useful information that any professional can use to grow their business and theircareer by design and not by default – whether they are a business owner or they are in management,”Daniel explained.

Steward added, “As a long-time accounting and consulting firm in Albuquerque, we’reprivileged to have the opportunity on KKOB to reach out and share our experience in a statewideforum, asking questions and providing practical advice. We’re excited about the show and hope tomake new friends along the way.”

The Dec. 15 program will discuss “Last Minute Tax Strategies.” Other topics planned includeinformation technology, preventing fraud and employee embezzlement, women in business, retirementplanning and internet commerce. “We’ll also be seeking listener feedback on topics they want to hear,”Steward said.Recordings of each show will be available on the program’s website the week following theactual program at www.letstalkbusinessnm.com.
