Pulakos CPAs Appoints Staff Accountant

ALBUQUERQUE – Pulakos CPAs, certified public accountants and consultants, has announced the appointment of Amanda Davis as a staff accountant.
Davis is responsible for preparing individual and corporate tax returns for the firm’s clients in her new position. She began her career in public accounting as a staff accountant at another Albuquerque-based CPA firm in 2008, where she was responsible for preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships and S-Corporations. Her previous experience also includes a position as a financial aid officer at a privately owned college.
Davis graduated from the University of New Mexico Anderson Schools of Management in December 2008 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting. While at UNM, she served as president of the Beta Alpha Psi, Theta Xi Chapter professional accounting society.While in office, she was responsible for substantially increasing the organization’s membership and improving its national chapter status from Distinguished to Superior.
Davis also holds an associate’s degree in visual communications with a concentration in multimedia and web design.
